Plants adopt different mechanisms to respond to different abiotic stresses, where the regulation of stress-responsive genes via miRNA is an important one. Thus, the ASRmiRNA is developed for predicting the abiotic stress-responsive miRNAs and pre-miRNAs. The support vector machine has been adopted for prediction purpose, where pseudo K-tuple nucleotide compositional (PseKNC) feature was used to represent each nucleotide sequence as a numeric feature vectors. There are three types of datasets have been used for prediction i.e, miRNA, Pre-miRNA and Pre-miRNA+miRNA. |
